Vikes fans chime in.
Not much happening in free agency but looking forward to getting Kalil in the draft. I pray they don't go elsewhere. The o-line is our weakest spot. Well CB maybe but in the Tampa 2 a standout corner is less of a priority.
What y'all think?

They certainly need O-Line help. Especially with Hutch moving on. Mt. McKennie a year removed. It's just getting ugly there.
I feel bad for the Vikes....got to suck being in a division with GB, DET, and CHI. Good news is they will be picking top5 next year too...maybe they can get another lineman then too

Top 5 for sure. They are screwed for at least another 2 years the way the division is shaping up. They will take Kalil at #3 and will go heavy on DB's and WRs through the mid rounds. So they COULD bounce back sooner than that IF Ponder is the real deal and I ain't buying that one yet.

very nice, hoping he's ready by opening day to give us one more solid RB option for redraft.

That dude is a beast and I would be very surprised if he's not only ready to go, but ready to dominate again. He works harder than anyone in the league and I mean anyone.

Agreed h8r. I have no doubt in my mind that Peterson will return to form. The real question is when. I'm not convince it'll be at the start of the season. Even if he's "ready" the Vikes are going to work in a heavy dose of Toby. Come mid-season though I think AD will be back to his dominant self again.
Probably not someone I'll end up with in redraft but absolutely love him being severely undervalued in dynasty right now.

Do you think the Vikes will pick Minnifield in the mid-rounds?

Do you think the Vikes will pick Minnifield in the mid-rounds? They will def be targeting DBs and WRs and fortunately for us, it is a deep draft class for both. I like Minnefield what little I know about him. Stand out at Virgina. Decided to stay for his senior season. Decent size for a corner. Plays in a 4-3 which is what frazier likes. Yeah, in the 4th if he's there, I could see them going after him. He's a decent returner to and god knows we need that as well. What made you zero in on Minnefield?(Minnesota/Minnefield)....?

Well Minnesota/Minnifield had a nice ring to it, but Minnifield is Frank Minnifield's son. Frank Minnifield used to play for the Browns in the 80's. If Minnifield goes to Minnesota, that would be the second player in the NFC North whose father played for the Browns in the 80's. Of course, there's a lot of Browns fans who'd like to see the name of Minnifield back in a Browns' uniform. He has some great potential and a good pedigree.

Want to get people's take on Christian Ponder. Dude got his ass kicked the last few games and I believe his confidence is not only shot, but the guys arm was never strong enough to be a top qB anyway.

Wow Burgandy you're writing him off already? He got pounded for sure but I don't think he's so weak as that. Dude seems to have a good head on his shoulders and will be fine. Add some help on the oline through the draft and he becomes a viable QB IMO. Not great but a decent game manager for sure.

He is def a smart kid and has a great attitude, but I saw and arm that has no buisness in the NFL. Balls so slow I could have drove to the stadium and intercepted them and I gaurantee the Vikes didn't take him at 12 to be a game manager. I will be happy if he becomes a game manager. Im not saying he's blaine gabbert, but I was not impressed at all.
