Who would you rather have in dynasty and why?

Meachem, but not by much. Simply b/c Meachum will be the WR1 for Rivers and Decker will be WR2 for Manning. I guess you could argue Gates is WR1, but I still lean Meachum by the slimest of margins.

Meachem (and im really not sold on him)
I have a lot of questions about Decker. I think his hype got out of control too fast. We aren't sure his QB is back to full strength, He's not the first or second option in his offense, I haven't seen anything to suggest a great skillset (same can be said of Meach).
I just have to go with the guy that has a "shot" at being his teams #1WR

I guess I am in disagreement here. I'm not sold on Meachem, well not until Floyd succumbs to his annual ritual of being injured. I think Rivers WR1 will be Floyd and I think V.Brown may take over the #2 slot. I view Meachem as more of a product of the NOLA system than a decent WR that can pull a WR1 slot. I like what Floyd can do and he has shown that he can hold the WR1 slot when VJax wasn't there, well until he got injured.
I think Decker as a WR2 with Peyton will be more valuable than what Meachem will do in SD.
But I could be wrong and have been before.

I take Decker because I'm really high on him but it's close. I think the safer play is Meachem because he's the #1 WR on his team. Just not sold on his talent.

I'll take Meachem. A few questions here.....wasn't Meachem a first rounder? Don't you have to be talented to be a first rounder? Do we all of a sudden think he's less talented than what the organization saw when they drafted him? If so, has he had enough PT for anyone to really say he's not talented?

So first I'll preface this by saying I picked Meachem. But NO, you don't have to be talented to be a 1st round pick Does Mike Williams ring a bell? He was a top10 overall pick. Carlos Rodgers, Sylvester Morris, David Terrell, Freddie Mitchell, Ashley Lalie, Reggie Williams, Troy Williamson, Ted Ginn...list goes on forever.

Let's go over other 1st round wide receivers that didn't quite cut it in the NFL: Craig "Buster" Davis Troy Williamson Mark Clayton Roy Williams Reggie Williams Rashaun Woods Charles Rogers Bryant Johnson David Terrell To name a few... Would you consider them WR1's? I wouldn't consider a WR capable of being a #1 solely based on being a first round selection. They might be more likely to become one, but they are not necessarily one.

A lot of those players had big time motivation problems while I've never heard that about Meachem. Even Norv said he wasn't utilized correctly in NO.

I'll take Decker, by default because I've never liked Meachem very much. I agree with Dynasty Dave that Floyd will be the #1 and Brown will eventually be the #2, because Brown will outplay Meachem early in the season.
Peyton likes Decker, and has a prior relationship with him, working with him prior to him getting drafted by the Broncos. If Peyton likes a guy, I have to think he will get the ball to that guy regularly.
