Who would you rather have in dynasty and why?

Stafford, mainly because he is more of a pure passer and because he plays with the best WR in the league. Cam had a blow up rookie year, but I don't think we can count on him padding his TD numbers with all those rushing TDs every year. I also think with time, defenses will learn to scheme against him better. You are in great shape with either one, but I'd rather have Stafford.

Yep, this is a good one. Its honestly a coinflip(no space). I guess I would go Newton. Lets not forget that Stafford has a bum shoulder and last year so far has been the exception and not the norm. Don't get me wrong, if he is healthy, I think last year WILL be the norm. I can see some let off for Cam, but this league has never seen a playmaker of his size, speed, and strength...not even Vick. This guy has rarely been injured if ever, and even if the rushing TDs ease up, I still see him leading the league in QB rushing TDs and in most leagues that's 6 vs 4. So there's my reasoning. And lets not diminish Cam's throwing abiltiy. He is an above average pocket passer and will only get better IMO

Stafford. Cam had a magical year, but I'm staying far away this year. Stafford has all the throws and the weapons. He just needs the line to hold up and he's rock solid.

Man, I love Stafford, but I have to say give me Newton, and it's not even close.
Stafford needs to prove to me that he can stay healthy, even though he came through last year okay. He's got a plus, plus, plus arm and he's throwing to Calvin, so there's a lot to like.
However, IMO, with Newton, you get a top 5 QB AND a top 10 RB all in one. He is just fantasy gold. I really think his ceiling is higher than any player currently in the NFL in terms of fantasy scoring.

I'll take Cam but this one is as close as it gets. There's risk either way with Cam bound to regress at least a little and Stafford and his injury woes. Cam is just younger, more athletic, and has slightly more upside with his rushing ability.
That said they're both in my top 3 so I'd be happy with either one.

Stafford is throwing to the #1 Ranked player for me in PPR IMO. They are built to pass, he has tons of talent at his disposal along with Calvin. He's got a cannon for an arm.
I like Cam, but I'm not all crazy about him like some. He'll be solid, but I "could" see the OC Chudnisky or however the heck you spell it give more red zone carries to Stewy, or wishful thinking. I just dont think its realistic to think that you can count on those rushing TD's every year. As I watched Cam last year he made some great throws, but he made a ton of bad throws too. I do expect his numbers to regress a little.
For me personally, I want the elite QB throwing to the #1 WR in the game.

Not really Jaysports, but having said that, I'm sure glad to have him! I knew I would be in the minority with this opinion. I probably misspoke saying that this decision wasn't close. It is close. But give me Newton all day, every day.
