Both have similar big-time regular season stats, both have won 1 SB and have lost 1 SB. Both have close to a .500 career winning percentage in the playoffs. Who are you taking here?

Manning by a fair margin honestly. Favre would be 5ish on my list due to his accuracy and decision making

Farve by a lot. More yards, more TD, more wins, had a winning record in playoffs (manning doesn't), NFL Iron man. interesting fact: one of only 4 QBs to lead the league in TD passes 4 years (Unitas, Dawson, Young)
Honestly Manning is on the same career track as Favre...lot of similarities. He just hasn't got up to Bretts level yet. He may before his body gives out but has a ways to go.

Manning by just a slight edge. I LOVE the way #4 played football. I hate the Packers almost as much as I love the Vikes and GOD knows how that played with my fragile psyche in 09'. I was on board in 2010 and then that shit storm of a season happened. Manning to me is the best passer of the football I have ever seen. From start to finish. A technician. Emotionless. Calls the plays, changes the plays based on the defense, and then putt the ball on target exactly where it should go damn near every time. In Manning's prime...it wasn't even fair to put a defense out there...even the best defenses. Favre was just the opposite. Reckless, fearless, but full of emotion. More fun to watch. Stats inflated due to the most amazing stat he holds which is the career consecutive starts record, of which manning was on pace to break until his neck broke first...lol. Very close, but edge to Manning.
