According to ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky, word out of Jacksonville was that WR Mike Thomas "gave up" in frustration late last season.
It was more than just the struggles of rookie QB Blaine Gabbert. Thomas didn't get along with WRs coach Johnny Cox, who was subsequently fired by Mel Tucker and replaced with Jerry Sullivan. Thomas' effort came into question after signing a five-year, $19 million contract in October. Between Gabbert's growing pains and the addition of potential No. 1 receiver Laurent Robinson, Thomas will struggle to return to WR3 value in 2012. His Dynasty value is fading.
So assuming the "growing pains" he mentioned were in fact "growing pains" and not that Gabbert was the worst QB I have seen in this league since Leaf, what do you guys expect out of M Williams this year if anything. Can an improved Gabbert and a "trying" Williams make something happen or am I wasting my breath...I personally think I'm wasting my breath.

First: Blaine Gabbert is garbage. Never seen a player so scared to take a hit. Second: I'd be frustrated too if that was my offense. They are inept.
They have a new #1 in town which should open Thomas in the slot more...but I have zero faith in Gabbert to get it to him. I'd tell you to sell low on Thomas but he holds zero value now.

Yeah I agree with gambler. Gabbert sucks and as a result so will Thomas for the foreseeable future. I really liked Thomas coming into last year. He's a great slot guy and could really put up nice numbers in a good offensive system. The trouble is Jacksonville isn't that and Thomas signed a long term deal there.

It's going to suck for whatever great WR prospect lands there, instant deflation of value.
