In a league where all TD are 6 points, would you trade Ryan on rookie draft day to select RGIII? Griffin has a lot of hype and a very high ceiling, while Ryan has proven he has the ability to be a star. He hasn't exploded, but he has improved each year. With ATL RBs getting older and the addition of Julio Jones, he could be ready to go full speed ahead.

Curious who your other QB would be assuming you carry more than one on your roster?
I like to take chances....and I think I'd rather take a chance on RG3 because I believe his upside is higher than Ryan's. If you like the "sure thing" than keep Ryan because the risk is much higher with RG3.

I used to have Brady. I decided to trade him too soon rather than too late. I got Stafford in the deal so I'm excited about that as long as he stays healthy.
I generally don't make decisions based on my favorite team, but I'm a Redskins fan and coming off back to back championships. This is why I'm tempted to roll the dice with Griffin if someone would accept Ryan for their #1 pick when they are on the clock during the draft.
On a side note, I love the site! Really enjoy the layout and articles. You can never have too many solid FF sites!

I'm always in win-now and if Stafford goes down I would not want a greenhorn running the ship on a title run....

I agree that Ryan is more of a sure bet behind Stafford. Here's a little twist though, I acquired a future #1 last year that turned into a top pick this year. I could possibly have Luck and RG3 on my roster. Winning twice has really made me willing to take more chances. I still don't want to do anything stupid though.

If you have Stafford I wouldn't be using any premium picks on QB's....You can never be too greedy, go with the killer instinct and grab BPA out of RB/WR to stack your team even more. Nothing better than a 3-peat....

I agree with you, and I know my considerations completely defy normal logic. What makes me take Luck high is that he is one of two (Richardson) players in this draft that are labeled as talents that don't come around too often. They aren't just the top guys this year at their positiosn. Luck is considered the best since Manning/Elway while Richardson is the best since AP. Comparatively, Blackmon and Floyd aren't even considered better prospects than AJG/Julio last year, let alone Calvin/Moss. I feel that kind of potential in Luck is too much to pass on regardless of having Stafford. Especially considering that I don't have any major holes on my roster. I'm a little thin at RB depth, but I'm loaded at WR.

Other than that I agree with you. I would def take T-rich if you can, I'm betting dollars to pesos that he is in Clev to start the year and thats a great place for him. Then go with your gut, I have no problem taking RG3 or Luck in place of Ryan.. It is a gamble, but both have higher ceilings IMO and I am leaning toward RG3 personally.

In 6pt for all TD leagues Griffin actually dips down in value due to his rushing TDs not meaning as much. I'd want Ryan in this case (though I love RG3)

Give me Ryan by a fair margin. He's got a ton more weapons than RG3 will have in the near future. You could argue RG3 has a higher ceiling but Ryan has a much much higher floor.
