This league is keep 7 plus a rookie. 12 team. Non-PPR. 3 point passing TD's. 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving. 3 point bonuses at 300 yards passing and 100 yard rushing/receiving. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE
My roster: Ben Roethlisberger, Andy Dalton Arian Foster, Jamaal Charles, Jahvid Best, Donald Brown Roddy White, Victor Cruz, Stevie Johnson, Greg Little, Damian Williams Antonio Gates, Brent Celek, Dustin Keller
My projected keepers are in bold.
I traded for Dalton expecting there to be a market for Little. I guess I was wrong. So Dalton was extremely cheap so I would have no problem dropping him and keeping Little. I have picks 2.01, 2.04, and 3.04, so I could address my QB situation there if I kept Little.
I'm bored and looking at moves. However I don't want to do something stupid out of boredom. Is there anyway to improve my team or should I just stand pat?

Has there been a trend in previous years as far as teams keeping or not keeping QB's? Just trying to get a sense if any QB's will be available. I'd rather have Roethe personally, but I have to think if you're really wanting to keep Dalton that you would 100% be able to draft him after dropping him and keeping Little. Guessing you don't have to decide for a bit, so a lot will be determined in the draft as far as Little's value. Does anyone have two solid QB's better than Roethe or Dalton? If so, post their rosters so we can look at possible trade offers to get you an upgrade at QB.

My thoughts on QB's is that if I don't keep one I would be obligated to draft one at 13 and one at 16. If I keep Dalton I can grab Ben or something comparable at 13 and Little or something comparable at 16. Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Newton, Stafford, Vick, E Manning, P Manning, Romo, Rivers, and Ryan are being kept. Everyone else will be available. I figure RGIII goes before 13, Luck might fall.

So you named 11 QBs being kept...In this case you KNOW none of them will be drafting a QB early since they are all keeping one. That gives you a little more room to grab impact players early. You just have to judge when to take a QB before they start taking backups there.

You just have to judge when to take a QB before they start taking backups there. You typically don't want to be the guy on the tail-end of a trend in drafts. This is a similar scenario as you are trying to ensure you have a starting QB when all the big difference makers are already off the board while there is value at other positions. If you're intent on taking a QB I would personally be taking Ben as he should bounce back from a down '11 season. Dalton doesn't excite me too much and I think he would be there for a bit in your draft anyways...

I agree I'd rather keep Ben than Dalton. He should be available to redraft unless you know others in your league are high on him too.
As for other moves a if you're happy keeping Dalton any chance of packaging Charles and Big Ben for an upgrade at RB? Maybe Ben and Best for a more solid RB3 in case Charles falters?

Keeping Ben is not an option I was considering. With our keepers being 7 plus a rookie, I don't see Ben as a better keeper than my other options. Especially with 3 point passing TD's. It boils down to keeping Dalton or Little as my rookie.
I would like to be able to package Ben with something for a QB or RB upgrade, but am having problems finding interested owners.

That makes sense. I didn't catch the rookie keeper aspect. Victor Cruz is another piece that (at least IMO) is overvalued at this point. You could use him to try and put something together if need be.
The real problem I see here is that your starters are pretty clear cut with not a whole lot of depth thereafter. Ben is really the only expendable piece I see so if you can't find a buyer with him it'll be tough unless you're willing to do some sort of two-for-one with Foster. Tough to trade him though.

Yeah with 3pts / TD, that sucks. U might as well keep Dalton although you should check in with the Browns expert in the "homers" forum on his take on little. There might be something to keeping little over Dalton. i agree with Jaysports though. Ben's stock is down so you will have trouble moving him, but Ben IS going to bounce back. I would put it in stone.

I have picks 13, 16, and 28 so I am 100% sure I could get him back at 13, and mostly likely 16 if there is something good that falls to 13.
