Agreed. I wouldn't touch Jeffery if his current ADP is late 1st. Too many red flags. Take someone without the red flags and near as much upside.

My only question is do I want Blackmon with St.Louis, Floyd in Cleveland, or Jeffery in Houston? With Wade Phillips, might raise his draft stock a tad. I realize Phillips is just a defensive coordinator, but still coming from Dallas he might be able to coax some insight into what the Texans offense is lacking. A nice #2 or future replacement for the often injured A.Johnson.

One NFL scout told ESPN New York that he noticed a "gut" on South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery in pre-game warmups during the college season, and the scout is under the impression that Jeffery "loves to eat."
Jeffery has put on a good act by shedding an extreme amount of pre-draft weight, dropping from the 240s to 213 between the college season and his March 28 Pro Day. Teams that paid attention last year will be aware of Jeffery's weight problems, though. We expect the concerns to help keep him out of round one.

. We expect the concerns to help keep him out of round one Source: ESPN New York This is the key phrase of that quote. ROUND1 . The guy is a first round talent with belimia. Floyd isn't even graded out as a 1st round talent. I personally don't have him as a first round talent, but he is right behind flyod, jones, and wright in the 2nd. Still a TON of talent to dismiss b/c the dude like cookies and cream

PFT just posted an article that Flody has an even chance of being the first WR off the board. He's worked out for half the top 10 teams. I personally believe he goes before Blackmon.

Scorp brought up a good point. The nfl draft will have a great deal of influence on the value of some of these rookies. Like others Jeffreys has dropped down my draft board but if he goes to Houston it would change my opinion. I was thinking of placing Floyd above Blackmon but there is some speculation that he may go to the Jags. Hmmm what would that do to my draft board? Wish the draft would get here to clarify this.

Yeah I won't be a bit surprised to see Floyd go before Blackmon. He's as talented as they come. Maybe teams can hire a hypnotist to give Jeffery bulimia?

It will surprise the HELL out of me. You should also know, that a 1st round "GRADE" is different that being taken in the 1st round. Most draft experts give out daft grades and THEN predict where they will go. Depending on scoring system, there are only about 10- 1st round grades this year, but again some scoring systems are stricter than others. Blackmon is the only 1st round grade I have seen for a WR in this class. I'm sure somebody has floyd as a 1st round grade somewhere, but I just haven't seen it. The risk is too high on Flyod's off-field issues. I still think he'll go late 1st early 2nd, but he is def not a 1st round grade.

I agree with houdini - I am targeting Marvin Jones in the late second/early third rounds
