Thinking of sending MJD, VJax for Ingram, Cruz.
Good, bad, ugly?

ehhh, I'm not sure i would, but I also think Cruz has no where to go but down. Perfect storm for him last year, Nicks, Manningham, and both TEs were injured throughout the year. A healthy Nicks will get a LOT more targets week in and week out. Not a bad offer, but not a slam dunk for me personally. But if you love Cruz, you take it.

For me it is about winning now. If I am trying to compete then MJD and VJax all day long. If not and I am rebuilding then it comes down to how I feel about Ingram. I am not a fan so I still say no. I prefer Cruz over VJax due to age, so if you are an Ingram fan I could possibly see how this deal is attractive.

OK...I've got a stacked team...was just trying to "get younger"
Currently rolling with:
Rodgers Foster, MJD, CJ2k Nicks, Harvin, VJax Finley

Another yr will severely depreciate the values of both MJD and VJax making it that much harder for you to get younger. VJax is almost 30 and age is already starting to creep into the conversation with MJD.

I agree with Jaysports on the depreciating value of MJD and VJax. Those two are both nearing the point of no return when it comes to trade value. If you want to receive any type of value back for either one of those guys....this is the year to do it.
Personally, I would make that deal.

I would want the Ingram side by a nice margin.

I wouldn't do that deal and it isn't close for me. MJD is top 5 and Ingram isn't (probably never will be). I like VJax better than Cruz too.

That's a horrible offer. I'm all for trading MJD, but I would want a lot more than that in return.
Let me go on the record as saying this is the year to trade MJD. From the research I did about his bone on bone injury, it doesn't affect his performance from season to season, but shortens the career by about 2 years. He will 28 next year. Add the two years for the injury and that makes him a 30 year old running back. We know that stigma.

I will see if I can find it when I get home. Bought low on him last off season just after the injury was announced. Won the championship and traded him already this off season.

Good stuff gentlemen. I would also not do the deal. Not enough. I am praying Ingram breaks out this year but thats a hefty price to pay for the gamble.

I can't find what I'm looking for. The short version is that because there is no cartilage between the bones, the bones are wearing down faster than if there was the cartilage as a cushion. Kind of like driving a car with no oil.

I've driven a car without oil before. Let me tell you one thing, it is scary when you feel the engine getting mad at you and trying to get back at you through the floorboard. But I do agree with trading MJD, however I'd raise the asking price. If you plan on making that move, at least drop VJax from the offer. You are asking for too little for MJD and throwing VJax into the deal to boot.
