12 team PPR. We start 1 qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1 rb/wr/te flex
I give: Charles, Hillis, 1.12
I get: Stewart, DeAngelo, 1.6
Current Roster:
Vick, Fitzpatrick, Gabbert Charles, Hillis, K. Bell, Scott, Powell AJG, Marshall, Steve Smith, Ford, Boldin, James Jones, Doucet Gates Rookie picks 1.1, 1.7, 1.11, 1.12, 3.12
I really love Charles, but growing up in NC, I also am a big fan of the Panthers. And the head coach is saying Tolbert will only be used as a blocking FB, which should help the Stewart and DeAngelo's numbers.
Is the bump from 1.12 to 1.6 worth moving Charles and Hillis for these 2?

Not in my view. I would much prefer the Charles side.
I just dont want anything to do with the Panthers RB situation still. Regardless of what they say about Tolbert just the tallent of those 3 backs plus the rushing skills of Cam leaves me wanting to stay away from that mess until I see something that makes me think its not a total crap-shoot.
Give me the huge upside of Charles in the re-vamped zone blocking and the 1.12 every time.

what if I added Gates and Gabbert OR Fitzpatrick for Fred Davis and Dalton to that first offer?

well maybe not at QB so much, but I'd much rather have Fred Davis than Gates in a dynasty. Maybe that's just me though.

yeah, I love davis (am a die hard skins fan) but I'm just not ready to say I'd rather have him over Gates just yet. Soon, probably but I'd rather hold off a bit and see how things shake out with Washington and QB chemistry and to make sure Davis shows consistancy into this season.

Last year I took over an orphan team with Stewart and DeAngelo. Still have them and I would jump on this trade if offered to me, so I guess that means it probably would not be a good trade for you.

Homerism clouded my judgement. I pulled the offers I sent and rejected his first one. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I have Stewart ahead of Charles personally, DAW ahead of Hillis, the 1.6 better than 1.12, FDavis better than Gates and Dalton over Gabbert. 5 upgrades IMO.

I just dont see it. I guess if you really think charles doesnt come back...but still..
I see Charles as easily 5-10 spots higher than Stewart and has higher upside. Hillis on a 1 year contract is there for back up duties and insurance only.
Williams, Stewart, Cam, maybe even Tolbert.....you want a piece of that? I'm much more confortable with the question around Charles since all news regarding recovery has been great so far and they are going to try to adjust the offense to play to his strengths.
I get that there is a chance that Stewart might land somewhere else at some point but that does not mean it will be any better. (ala Michael Bush).

I like this deal for you. JStew > Charles DWill > Hillis 1.06 > 1.12
My personal feeling on that. Not a believer in charles after the injury at all. no way he's at 100% this year and if he's less he doesn't have the burst to get away like normal.
