Who would be your first overall pick in start-up Dynasty PPR drafts?

Calvin for me. WRs last a long time and nobody is close to him. He'll still be putting up elite numbers when the favorite RBs of today are broken down and retired.

Welcome Gamblers, excited to see you on the site. I've always loved your take on FF, everyone here is going to love your feedback!

While I'd probably take Calvin myself I think Rodgers has to be in this discussion. He'll still be putting up elite numbers when the favorite RBs AND WRs of today are broken down and retired.

I just wouldn't be able to do it as much I love Rodgers, I've never been able to pull the trigger on QB's early. Although, that is changing and I'm about to write an article about how the league has shifted so much into a passing league that RB's are almost overrated these days unless you have one of the top 3-4. It's better to build your nucleus around a stud QB and 3-4 stud WR's and a top 3-4 TE. Then, focus your middle rounds on a ton of RB's ready to break out or rooks. May not win year one, but when those RB's start to produce you'll be looking pretty for awhile.

Absolutely agree. We tend to minimalize the value of QBs in the early rounds of drafts, but having an elite scoring QB for a decade plus is well worth an early first round pick.
