Ouch Houdini, what do you guys say when rejecting some of the ugliest offers you've ever seen? Honestly, I try to be polite unless the guy has been filling up my inbox with endless crap. In this particular instance, I simply said "no thanks" and that I wasn't even remotely interested... You never know who you may need in order to work out a great deal....so I try not to burn bridges over a lousy offer. I agree.

You never know who you may need in order to work out a great deal....so I try not to burn bridges over a lousy offer. I agree. I normally try to be polite about it as well, up to a point. When all their offers are crap(Especially if they counter your somewhat fair offer with something ridiculous) and they continue to offer the crappy offers up I do get annoyed with them and bash them merciless about it. At that point, I decide to not even deal with them anymore with trades and don't even bother trying. They simply become dead to me in regards to trades. I normally only have one of these teams in any of my leagues.

I agree to be polite. The real art is trying to shake the insistant ones. I have just flat out said I AM NOT TRADING THAT PLAYER and in comes another offer an hour later. When they simply ignore you or don't listen I will send a "loud and clear" msg. That pisses me off.

I give Brees I get Bradford and J.Simpson Explanation : you already have Stafford so Bradford is good #2 QB (we start 1) and you get J.Simpson.

Though, you should have laid even more logic back at him by saying that while Bradford may be a solid #2, giving up Brees is worth more than J.Simpson, then you counter with Bradford + one of his bigger stars.

My rule of thumb is that if they have to justify it to you it's not a good deal. Lots of owners out there that are trying to be slick and get over on folks with the used car salesman stuff. However, I do add comments on some of my trades, hope I'm not offering up some of the worst deals ever seen.

I've stopped adding comments to my trades. I've found it makes it sound like I'm trying to sell it too much. If I just shut up and propose a deal they accept them much more frequently in my experience.

I was offered J. Flacco, M. Forte and M. Manningham for M. Stafford and A.J. Green.
Also was offered A. Dalton for J. Stewart. Same owner with both offers. This guy does not know how to adequately value players!!!!
